Life lately. ✨
Life after Daisy was born was nothing like we thought it would be. But now, 3 months in, we're finally finding our groove. This week we got sick, (again), but we're almost all better. We went on our first little road trip as a family of 4, and Daisy had her first night away from home (besides the hospital!) It felt sooo good to get away, and we're off to some more adventurous places soon. While we were jetting off to Europe with Ollie at 3 months the first time around, times have changed and Daisy is a very different baby. It feels right to start small and enjoy the little moments.

Almost 2 years ago we made the decision to move from Vancouver to Victoria. It was a difficult choice that we didn’t make lightly. We spent 15 years living in arguably one of the most beautiful cities in the entire world, building a community, building a family, and making it our home. We considered ourselves true Vancouverites and the city became completely engrained into our lives. We were accustomed to city life and loved having accessibility to the mountains - two things that don’t come as easily on the island! In a perfect world we’d have a house in both cities, but yeah...that’ll never happen. 🙃 So while we know that moving from Vancouver to Victoria isn’t the right choice for everyone, it was right for our family. While Vancouver will still always feel like home, we’re never looking back! Here are 6 reasons why.
