I might be a classic holiday girl (think the Home Alone house!) but everyone else in the fam goes full holiday mode and it’s 4 against 1. 😏

Ok but the mouse named Brie?! 🐭🧀 I just can't with our new decorations. 😍😭 Not sponsored in any way, we bought every single mouse (couldn't leave any behind 🥲) and what's officially my fave new garland and I have never loved a holiday set up more. We're not quite finished the tree but so far the mice feel like the perfect mix between aesthetic Christmas and playful for the kids. Quite literally the most magical holiday experience we’ve EVER had. Last week we flew across the country to Toronto with @canadiantire to celebrate the launch of the holidays and visit their annual Christmas House. Imagine walking into what felt like the most incredible movie set - 3 floors completely decked out from floor to ceiling with Christmas decor ALL from Canadian Tire, just bursting with holiday cheer. No detail was left untouched. Fake snow to truly set the scene, a Canadian Tire mouse village, stunning trees in every room, and a visit from the big man himself.🎅 The magic and passion from the entire CT Team was palpable. Bring on the holidays!!! 🎁✨

#ad The holidays are....ON! This year we are extra excited to start the festivities and spread a little magic in our home, so we surprised our kiddos with a little holiday kickoff party. Crafts, decorations, and we found the yummiest addition this year to make it extra special: @ChipsAhoy Cookie Butter cookies! Oh to be 3 and believe in fairies. 🧚🥹 Honestly we’ve been dreading this day since the day they introduced a binky to Daisy when she was hospitalized with RSV at 8 weeks old. Turns out a touch of magic makes everything better and after just 3 nights her teary “I want my binky!” has turned into...”I don’t use binkies cause I’m big now!” 🥲

Ranking how hard each age is to fly with out of 10

Ranking how hard each age is to fly with out of 10! After 100+ flights over the last 7 years with our 3 kids...here’s our experience ⤵️

0-6 months: in our opinion, the golden age! We tell everyone to travel during this phase. Babies are immobile, not eating solids, and don’t need entertaining. One point lost for allll the baby gear!

6-12 months: mini little wriggly worms. They’re crawling, not easily entertained for long periods, eat messy solids, and teething. 😵‍💫

12-18 months: walking, starting to talk, eating snacks, and starting to be able to communicate. Slightly easier!

18 months - 2 years: in our experience, a little reprieve. Much easier to entertain, and our kiddos have been so sweet and cuddly in this age!

2-3: all hell breaks loose. May the travel gods be with you.

3-5: the end is almost in sight!

5-7: Ollie is such a dream at this age. He’s helpful, keeps himself entertained and sleeps like a champ. The best little travel companion!

Despite all the challenges, (and admittedly there are a lot), traveling with kids is always 100/10 in our books. 🥹🥰✈️
