“What kind of camera do you use?" 📸 Oh, so glad you asked! 😉 We’ve been a @canoncanada family since the very beginning of our content creation journey, and now as parents, we find ourselves putting our phones down and reaching for our Canon R50V. It lets us stay present in the moment while capturing life in a way that actually does it justice.

This day was one of those reminders. 🤍 A family adventure out to China Beach - hiking through an old growth forest, chasing waterfalls, and ending up on one of the most breathtaking stretches of coastline on Vancouver Island. I love how the Canon R50V was made with content creators in mind, but it's easy enough for a beginner to use. It's fantastic at capturing high quality images and videos, is equipped with both a vertical and horizontal tripod mount and when in movie mode, the on-screen menus automatically rotate based on the camera's orientation. If you want to level up your content but don't know where to start, start here! Daisy was grumpy and really struggling one afterno

Daisy was grumpy and really struggling one afternoon, (I mean, she's 3.5, the middle child and at Disneyland, I didn't blame her!) so I snuck away for an hour with just me and her. The second we were alone, things turned around. When we walked towards the castle we saw a stand selling Cinderella dolls and on a whim I bought one for her - my instinct was to say no, (my mom would never have bought it for me 😅) but something in my gut told me I should. Talk about healing my inner child! What happened next, I swear was something out of my motherhood dreams. We sat together under the castle as she clutched her new doll and stared at her adoringly, and she looked up at me and said, "thank you mama." I took this candid video of her shortly after - the blissful magic she was feeling was palpable. I wished could bottle up that moment and keep it forever. As a kid I always dreamed of having a moment like this, but now I get to experience it through her. 🫶👑 ✨
